We open doors to top-level leadership opportunity for talented young musicians from under-served communities in Latin America, build bridges for democratic access to quality information, education and dialogue in urban and rural peripheries, and inspire on stages around the world with a creative vision empowered by diversity and the freshness of cultural exchange.

Ilumina delights Europe with a memorable tour, featuring stops in the Netherlands, Scotland, Germany, and Austria!

Ilumina began its tour in August with a grand opening at Het Concertgebouw in the Netherlands on the 12th. The tour continued at the Edinburgh International Festival, with concerts held on August 14, 15, and 17. In September, the tour concluded with two final performances: one on the 26th at the Kronberg Festival in Germany and another on the 28th at the Dachstein Dialogue Festival in Austria.

Ilumina was the first Brazilian group to undertake a full residency at the Edinburgh International Festival and performed 4 extraordinary concerts.

Jennifer Stumm was honored with the Pablo Casals Prize during the prestigious Kronberg Festival. This award recognizes her exceptional commitment to music. The prize, which pays tribute to the legacy of the legendary cellist Pablo Casals, highlights the important role of music in building a fairer and more harmonious world. The ceremony was an emotional moment, celebrating not only Stumm's talents but also her positive impact on society.

The auditions for Ilumina Festival are closed

Registrations for the 10th Ilumina Festival were opened from May 15 - June 30, 2024. If you are between 18 and 26 years old and play violin, viola, cello, or double bass, get ready to apply next year!
